Original video cassette release of feature length documentary issued in card sleeve, later issued on DVD.
The documentary features footage from the June 1996 concert. Russell Simins is featured on the cover and appears in the movie. First very briefly (3m 12s), later performing Birthday Cake with Cibo Matto (46m 12s) and a third time back stage with Sean Lennon (58m 57s). Cibo Matto released Birthday Cake as a 7″ and CD single. Although The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion are not featured on this video the band did perform at the 1997 concert and were included on the Tibetan Freedom Concert album along with Cibo Matto. |
