Standard US CD edition with unlisted track Hit Squad. The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion appear on both The Black Godfather and Hit Squad and the Intro to the album makes use of a Boss Hog sample (of “Daddy Sez”). Track 13 has a run-time of 30 minutes to create a gap between Can’t Find My Mind and Hit Squad’. This song was also featured on Black Godfather (Bonus Tracks) [Promo] (CD, US), Black Godfather (CD, AUSTRALIA) and Black Godfather (CD, JAPAN). The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion recorded two songs for the album Andre Williams is The Black Godfather and Williams sang lead vocals on the song Lapdance released on Acme Plus / Xtra Acme USA and as a 12″ single. Jon Spencer appears on and is credited as ‘Musical Director’ of the Andre Williams & The Sadies album Night & Day.
