Xavier Benoit: The Man Behind The Bands

“Benoit is quick to dispel rock’n’roll notions about life on the road. “I’ve worked with some bands – slackers, drug addicts, drunks – they arrive late and fuck it all up,” he says. “You need one strong person in the pack. With the Blues Explosion, for instance, they’re all strong; everybody’s reliable. The tour is like a machine.””
