PUFFY – 30th Anniversary: New Release!

PUFFY – 30th Anniversary will be released on 13 May 2026 as a pastel blue vinyl LP with “PUFFY Newspaper,” originally created for listeners of FM Yokohama’s “Muri Mondai NIGHT” including Go Baby Power Now, the English-language version of Onna Machin Gan, by Jon Spencer, originally released on Splurge in 2006.

“Side A features smash hits that are essential for live performances, including “Asia no Junshin” and “Nagisa ni Natawaru Etcetera” (lyrics by Inoue Yosui, music and arrangement by Okuda Tamio), as well as “Kore ga Watashi no Ikiru Michi,” “MOTHER,” “Boogie Woogie No. 5.” (lyrics and music by Okuda Tamio), and “Ai no Shirushi” (signs of love) (lyrics and music by Kusano Masamune).
Side B features 12 tracks, including “Hi Hi” (lyrics and music by Andy Sturmer), the theme song for the anime “Hi Hi PUFFY AMIYUMI” that sparked their US breakthrough, as well as “Kuchibiru Motion” (lyrics and music by Yoshii Kazuya), “Dare ga Dare ka” (lyrics and music by Chiba Yusuke), “All Because Of You” (lyrics and music by Butch Walker/Avril Lavigne), “Bye Bye” (lyrics and music by Shimura Masahiko), and “Go Baby Power Now” (lyrics and music by Jon Spencer).

The booklet includes a revival of the “PUFFY Newspaper,” created for listeners of FM Yokohama’s “Muri Mondai NIGHT,” a regular radio program PUFFY hosted before their debut, with newly hand-drawn illustrations by the members!

The jacket features a key visual created by Yuko Higuchi to mark the 30th anniversary,
