I love rock’n’roll and my hometown of Shimane!

Let’s climb together the ancient tomb site there that overlooks the best, majestic lake in Japan.

And let’s have a party together!

This is what I want to do with everyone at the Simane Jet Festival, my rock’n’roll project since 2017.

In the midst of the world pandemic, I can’t stop thinking about ways to keep this festival going.

Especially now, when music, bands, live music venues and festivals are in dire straits.

One thing I’m proud of is my history of touring the world for the past 25+ years.

This gave me an idea of getting together all my favorite bands from all over the world, at my virtual web festival this year.

It could be one mess of a festival, but hey, that is what I’ve been after all my life.

I need your help to make this virtual festival wildest ever during this pandemic.
I am working on getting together some of the best rock’n’roll lineup from around the world the web festival can seek.
To top it off, Guitar Wolf plans to broadcast live from my hometown’s ancient tomb site. I guarantee you will be blown away, as you’ve never seen anything like it before.

2020年9月26日にオンラインで開催される「シマネジェットフェス2020」に、ジョン・スペンサーがJon Spencer & the HITmakersとして出演する事が決定した。

ギターウルフ主催イベントにジョン・スペンサー

ギターウルフのセイジの地元島根で開催されるシマネジェットフェス。今年はオンラインでの開催となる。今回、セイジが出演を打診したところ、今朝出演OKの返事が来たという。ギターウルフとジョンスペンサーイクスプロ―ジョンは、かつてNYのマタドールレーベルでのレーベルメイトでもあった関係から、ギターウルフセイジとジョンスペンサーは古くからの盟友である。

本イベントは、渋谷パルコ9Ｆのスーパードミューンより世界に向かって配信される。当日は、渋谷パルコ10F屋上のカフェ『ComMunE』にて、パブリックビューイングのカフェ「ジェットカフェ」がオープンする予定。
