“Were these sessions different from previous records in any way, for example in the way you guys determine the dynamic between guitar parts?
Bauer: Everything’s just jamming—whether it’s at soundcheck or in a basement on Avenue B [in New York City]. Anyone [in the band] can start anything, so it’s pretty much a collective, musically. I think this album had the tightest time schedule of any—I think we had 10 days in July and 10 days in August to get songs written.”

According to the above post the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion will be playing The Big Room @ CD 102.5 FM, Columbus, Ohio on 25 October 2012.

There are no more details listed on the CD 102.5 site currently but any information about this and the broadcast will be posted here when known.

« Meat & Bone » est un manifeste trash, une ode décadente et nihiliste à la jeunesse retrouvée. La carcasse superbe qui orne la pochette en dit long sur le contenu de l’album, et le cauchemar n’est pas réservé à Brigitte Bardot. De toute manière, avec le JSBX on est rarement trompé sur la marchandise. Pas de falsification, pas d’erreur possible. C’est d’la bonne viande, presque à coup sûr ; de la matière brute, explosive, à ne pas mettre entre toutes les mains.
