The new issue of Uncut magazine includes a review of the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion set at the Yeah Yeah Yeahs curated I’ll Be Your Mirror event at Alexandra Palace, London on 4 May 2013.

His Blues Explosion are kindred spirits and tonight their bass-free, blues-punk primitivism underlines just how far ahead of that curve they were, 22 years ago.
