“The New York trashmen are kicking off a quick trip early next month, with the tour highlighting material from their 2005 self-titled debut, 2007’s Going Way Out with Heavy Trash and 2009’s Midnight Soul Serenade, a press release confirms. Russell Simins (of Blues Explosion), who drummed for Karen and Nick at MoMA, was there on the side playing tambourine for a song.
