nb. We Are Hex replaced Pampers who were originally scheduled to support at this show but had to pull out due to medical reasons.
During the encore of this show there was marriage proposal. And here is the first hand account of that event:
“I asked Judah Bauer and Jon Spencer if I could hijack the show to propose to my partner of (at the time 14 years) and they said “Yes”. The band stopped playing “2 Kindsa Love” (first song of the encore), Jon did an EPIC introduction about something more important than rock ‘n’ roll being on the house that night and then he got me up onstage where I 100% took too long to propose to Kristin… she said “Yes”, the show continued and then after the show when we thanked Jon he asked “was it okay?”…. seriously… it was the PERFECT proposal for us and I will always always be hugely grateful to the band for being so generous with their time.” – Bob Hodge
