“Karen was accompanied by an all star band comprising of LA’s Moses Sumney (who also performed his own song) and NYC’s Holly Miranda. Her Yeah Yeah Yeahs bandmate Nick Zinner played on a few of the songs too. Russell Simins (of Blues Explosion), who drummed for Karen and Nick at MoMA, was there on the side playing tambourine for a song. The lo-fi Crush songs sounded great filled out with the additional instruments.” – brooklynvegan.com

Heavy Trash /Jon Spencer will NOT be appearing at the The Crunchy Frog 20th Anniversary Party at Pumpehuset, Copenhagen, Denmark on 12 September 2014.

Crunchy Frog recently posted the following update via facebook:

“Bad news, good news and GREAT NEWS!!!

Bad news first: Mr. Jon Spencer is unable to attend our party because of family obligations. so Heavy Trash have to cancel.

Good news: Mr. Matt Verta-Ray IS able to attend and will not only DJ with his better half Rocio Wray – both of them will also be guest stars in The Tremolo Beer Gut on this special evening!”
