Jon summoned up a blistering set like a possessed fire-breathing preacher man, and his killer band—featuring Kendall Wind & Macky Spider Bowman—is one of the best rhythm sections around. We needed a night out, and this was worth the wait and cold temperatures because inside, it got real hot, real quick.
Not only were they electrifying live, but hearing him speak out amid the chaos and in resistance against the Trump regime & ICE made me respect him even more as a true artist.
