Psychic Youth – Step In Time / The Future Now (7″, US)

The line-up of Psychic Youth on this release was core members Fred Salkind and Perry Geyer with Russell Simins and Leslie Green.

Russell Simins has a writing credit on Step In Time and did the drum machine programming on these tracks both of which were included on the Electroconvulsive Therapy Vol 1 compilation which was originally issued on clear splattered vinyl limited to 650 copies in 2013 and was reissued in 2017.

nb. It is often reported that the tracks on the record are incorrectly labelled with The Future Now being the intended A side but the run-out groove engraving suggests this is not the case as sides A and B match on both the vinyl and labels.
