NOTES: | |
This is the orignal maroon label release of Charlie Feathers single Tongue-Tied Jill and Get With It.
Get With It was covered by the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion for the Get With It / Down Low 7″ single which was later released on the Jukebox Explosion Rockin’ Mid-90s Punkers compilation. As stated in the sleeve-notes to that release the In The Red Records Jukebox singles series of singles “were modeled on a similar series Charlie Feathers had released in the 70’s”, the label-design which the band copied and their cover of Get With It was “intended as a heartfelt tribute to the late, great Charlie Feathers”. |
