Son of Sam is a cover of a Chain Gang song [RELEASE / LYRICS] originally released in 1977. The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion version was first released in 1992 as the second In The Red Jukebox Series 7″ single and the track later appeared on Jukebox Explosion Rockin’ Mid-90s Punkers and the 2010 Shove reissue of Extra Width. What Love Is is a cover of Rocket From The Tombs / Dead Boys [RELEASE / LYRICS] and had not been previously released by The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and was later issued as part of a live album on Record Store Day 2016. Flavor was originally released on the 1994 album Orange. The photo was taken by Xavier Benoit “somewhere in Spain at a reststop”. |
