The Russian Recording 20 Year Anniversary is an exceptional outdoor family-friendly fundraising event taking place in the Russian Recording parking lot located at 1021 S. Walnut St in Bloomington, IN. Every admission ticket comes also comes with a fixed amount of raffle tickets (see details below) for a chance to win one or more incredible prizes including free recording studio time, gift certificates to your favorite Bloomington businesses, and more. Guests can also purchase food and beverage tickets that can be used at local food food trucks and to buy local beer and mixed drinks. 100% of the net proceeds from all admission, raffle, food, and beverage sales benefit local charities (see more info below).

In addition to the life-changing musical performances offered on this day, there will be a plethora of fun family friendly activities including on-demand screen printing, face painting, tarot readings and more.

WHERE AND HOW

The event will take place outdoors at Russian Recording. The Russian Recording parking lot will contain the raffle, food and drink, family-friendly activities, and the musical performances will take place on an outdoor stage in the empty lot next door on the north side of the studio, which will be accessible from the studio’s parking lot.

There will be two entrances to this fantastic fundraising event, one at the southeast side of Russian Recording parking lot (by the alley behind the Byrd Scooter building), and one at the Southwest side of the parking lot (right off the sidewalk on South Walnut in front of the studio).

There is free street parking located on most of the streets near the studio (S. Washington, S. Lincoln, etc) and will also be some spots available at the neighboring businesses’ lots, and possibly in the empty parking lot on South Walnut directly across from the studio (formerly the Honda Motorcycle Dealership which was the dad’s car dealership in Breaking Away).”
