First up from Austin TX was the HICKOIDS playing some excellent cow-punk. Everything from Green Acres to all out thrash, they bounced around in their cowboy hats providing an absolutely excellent show. A total of ten people showed up, my God you people don’t know what you’re missing by not coming to those Sunday night shows. PUSSY GALORE was next playing industrial noise with two guitars, no bass, drums and a steel drum. Most of the songs were indiscernible from one another, I was not very impressed. I was slightly more impressed with PEACH OF IMMORTALITY, definitely a more interesting concept. Instead of creating music, they destroy it and brother did they ever. Grinding the strings of a Telecaster with all sorts of tools and played other bands music thru a tape player and amp. Strange, only a couple of us were left by the time they finished their set.” – Common Level (No. 5)
