Promo CD edition of Pussy Galore – Live: In The Red in stamped / stickered plain card sleeve with the regular factory made CD edition of the album.
Also issued as a promotional edition with final artwork and commercially released on vinyl and CD. The photo used on the disc is of Neil Hagerty taken at the grave of Elvis Presley. This album is a Live recording of last ever Pussy Galore show (until the reunion gig at Maxwell’s, Hoboken, NJ, US on 23 December 2013). Show Poster: Pussy Galore – CBGB, New York City, NY, US (5 August 1989) In The Red Records issued two different promotional posters for this album. The tracks Dead Meat, SM57, Understand Me, Pig Sweat, Nothin’ Can Bring Me Down and New Breed were broadcast as a Peel Session on The John Peel Radio Show (25 July 1990). Nothing Can Bring Me Down is a cover of a song by The Twilighters, released as a 7″ single. Rockit by Herbie Hancock was recorded on the same 16 track tape machine as this live album. It originally owned by Martin Bisi and sold to Hilly Kristal. |
