In the twiglet zone between art and the arsehole, PG are the polite(r) younger cousins of GG Allin. Now GG is the real thing – a total and complete dickhead (we’re talking of songs such as ‘Needle up my Cock’ and ‘Drink, Fight and Fuck’) who takes an enema before he goes on state in order that he can splat the punkers with his own cak. But goshdarn-it if the music created isn’t about the most cathartic experience this side of writing a huffy letter to City Limits. Heaven knows if the racially and sexually offensive claptrap is heartfelt (doubtful) or tactical (booooooring!) because none of the post modernist (post political) prats who dig the band ever ask a difficult question. So if they should get bottled off stage then fuck them if they can’t take a joke!!! Ha ha! Pussy Galore’s latest album is a cover version of the Stones’ ‘Exile on Main Street’ and is infinitely superior to the original, of course.
