“Wow! Jon Spencer rode in like a tornado opening for Samantha Fish! Jon plays what I would describe as punk blues and put on an exciting energetic charismatic show. I doubt the Coach House audience would agree with me especially after his politically charged rant at the end of his show. I was a bit familiar with Jon from his performances and album with Mississippi Hill music bluesman R.L. Burnside.”
