Black vinyl Honeymoon Killers album limited to 750 copies featuring Judah Bauer, Russell Simins and Jon Spencer. Who’s Drivin’ Your Plane?, Dead Again, Joe’s House and Love Is All Around were previously released on the Sing Sing (1984 – 1994) compilation and Murderess In A Purple Dress appeared on the Scientists tribute album Set It On Fire!. “While diggin’ through Honeymoon Killers tapes today, I stumbled upon a tape we made on our last European tour. It was recorded at Joe’s house in the Netherlands 1991. I haven’t listened to this in 30 years.” – Jerry Teel “It exists!! “The Loved, The Lost & The Last” is the unreleased until now, sixth and final studio album by New York noise rock band The Honeymoon Killers, originally recorded in 1991. Here The Honeymoon Killers recorded this album picking up all 3 members of the nascent Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and it meant a sonic evolution to the band in the way to get the original Honeymoon Killers sound adding slicks of Pussy Galore and The Blues Explosion, and it includes covers of Ramones and The Scientists.” – Bang! “Side A These were songs we played for Peter and Kelly’s wedding. All love songs. This was the only time we were a wedding band, and this is part of what was going to be our wedding album. Love was in the air, and we did the best we could to make the air sound like love. Side B Whp’s Driving Your Plane was recorded during the Hung Far Low sessions, this version unreleased until now. The rest of this side is the last session and was recorded at the end of our last European tour. We had been asked to do a song for a Scientists tribute, so the session was mostly for that. I knew this would be the last and this is how it went down. Two tapes from these sessions remain lost, but are represented here by earlier mixes I did at the Funhouse NYC. Jerry Teel”
